Drummer door panels/cards - for Porsche 911 (1974-1998)

The Drummer Door Panels are a set of plug & play side panels designed for DIY installation. They boast several features that set them apart from everything else available on the market. They are available here. 

3D printed pockets/armrests

A certain novelty is that the pockets are 3D printed, thanks to which we achieved a lot of quality improvements such as:
- the pockets are repeatable, which means we are not dependent on a mould, fiberglass or some sculpting skills
- they are very rigid and stiff
- the product is very precise and repeatable, as said before
- and they are very light

The pocket consists of 3 main elements:
- a top cover
- a pocket
- a metal bracket.

They are combined and equipped with a specially designed hinge and magnet, which interact and cause a very pleasant effect when closing and opening. :) It is nice, satisfying. The cover and the pocket are separated by a metal element, which is a decorative element but more importantly it's a backbone of the structure. The inside of the pocket is lined with a pleasant-to-touch, velvet-like material. You can easily store a: phone, wallet, and glasses in the pocket.

Styling

These panels have a retro futuristic design, evident in the shape of the armrests with edges that are highlighted by light. The pockets also have smooth yet dynamic curves. The cutouts for the straps and pocket openings are sharp, dynamic, and asymmetrical, adding to their unique appearance.

Functionality

The panels are equipped with an armrest, and the pockets open to store items like wallets and small personal items. The armrest is padded with soft foam underneath the leather, making it ideal for long drives.

Spring-loaded pockets

The pockets are spring-loaded and close automatically, thanks to springs that retract them and magnets that keep them securely shut.

Construction

The pocket bases are made from a sturdy aluminum frame attached to the board. The frame is anodized in black, with a decorative edge visible between the armrest and the pocket. The edge can either remain black or be polished to silver, and we sell it in the black version.

Lining

The pockets are lined with black velvet, offering a luxurious feel and durability.

Door Strap Guides

The panels include guides for the door straps, ensuring they stay in place and do not interfere with the pockets.

Mounting Holes

The panels feature large mounting holes for the door straps. These holes are designed to make it easier to attach the straps to the mechanisms inside the doors.

The boards/side panels

They are based on the same panels that we use in other models. On the panels there is a lot of helpful mountage information, such as:
- where to cut out the plywood if you have automatic or manual windows
- where to cut out the large speaker or tweeter
- where to cut out the door lock, if you have one
- and even instructions on how to reconnect the window opening buttons

Window Switch Frames

These are provided separately for installation, reducing the risk of errors, especially if the car is right-hand drive (RHD) rather than left-hand drive (LHD), something we prefer to clarify before installation.

Customization Options available for you 

Board Material

We offer customizable materials for the boards, for example:
- leather basket weave, also known as woven leather
- smooth leather
- imported textiles and fabrics from car producers
- Alcantara
- custom made materials (embroidery, laser cut, embossing)

Armrest and Pocket Material

You can choose from leather or textile materials for the armrests and pockets.

Speakers

You can choose large speakers and possibly tweeters. We offer perforated or non perforated panels, as well as options with no holes (just like the R and RS models).

Phone Pocket

We can install a phone pocket in a fixed position, as in the R and RS models. The pocket can include a charger or be without one.

DIY - RAW Drummer Door panels

Yes, we also sell a RAW DIY set that you can finish yourself, locally, within your own skills, or with the help of a local upholstery shop. Such a set of side panels consist of: two pockets, along with door panels and all the equipment necessary for installation.

It often happens that your cars are made by upholsterers who do not have access to such specific products as a pocket, but they already make new seats for you, for example. Then you can order such a raw, bare set from us, which the upholsterer can make from the same materials as the seats.
